If you are looking into power inverters for yourself then you have no doubt come across modified sine wave inverters as well as pure sine wave inverters. While both of these types of power inverters do basically the same thing, there are some very important differences that will effect which one you will want to choose depending on your application.
Simply put, pure sine wave inverters put out a cleaner current which is best for sophisticated electronic devices. Such devices may include computers, laptops, laser printers and different types of medical equipment. Many of these devices will still work with a modified sine wave inverter but they may work better and with less interference with a pure sine wave inverter. For example, certain monitors may have interference such as lines through the screen or make uncharacteristic noises during operations. Also computers may crash easier using a modified sine wave inverter. Other devices, particularly medical equipment may not function at all unless you use a pure sine wave inverter. Some devices such as microwaves may simply run quieter and smoother but are still usable with a modified sine wave inverter.
Of course there is a disadvantage to pure sine wave inverters, namely that they are much more expensive than their counterparts. A 300 watt pure sine wave inverter will cost about the same as a 1000w inverter that is modified sine wave. Since only certain devices require or gain any advantage from using a pure sine wave inverter, you may consider purchasing a small pure sine wave inverter for special needs equipment and a larger modified sine wave inverter for other less sophisticated devices. You should check with the manufacturer to find out what devices require pure sine wave if you are not sure because some laptops need it while others don’t. There is no point in spending more money if your devices do not require it. However, with some things it is worth it to have one.

Although both inverters carries such good benefits. I thereby recommend to purchase the pure sine wave inverter. It produces sufficient energy that is capable to run most of your household appliances without having any troubles.
