When buying a single duvet as a gift for someone you know, it can be a bit of a problem not knowing what the single duvet size you should get for a friend or a relative if you don’t know what kind bed they sleep on and the size of the bed. A single duvet size comes in five sizes starting with single size (or twin size), full size, queen size, king size, or cal-king size. So what can you do when you know the perfect gift but don’t know the size of the bed. One thing you can do is check someone who knows the person well who might be willing to tell you the size of the bed. Another possibility is a gift certificate to the store or the website where you saw a good selection of duvets to give as a gift. Just make sure you tell the giftee what you intended to get.
The best possible situation is to know the person well enough to know what kind of bed they have. To purchase the right single duvet size and present it as a gift would delight the giftee.
When shopping for a gift, it’s best to search online for the single duvet size you want to buy. Start by shopping at Kaboodle.com where you will be presented with a wide selection of duvets and where you can buy them from. There are places that you may not be familiar with and some, in fact, are overseas which can cost you more in the purchase price plus the shipping costs. It’s best to go with a vendor that has a familiar brand name. One site that appears frequently on Kaboodle.com is Overstock.com. Not only do they sell high quality duvets and duvet sets but their prices are unbelievably good for what you’re buying. Another site which is featured prominently on Kaboodle.com is crateandbarrel.com which offers very handsome duvets. Though their prices may be higher than Overstock’s, you can frequently find good sales at the Crate and Barrel site that you might not find at their many stores.
The next site to check is Amazon.com. These days, some ask “what can’t you buy on Amazon that you can buy anywhere else?” A site that started by just selling books a mere 15 years ago now sells virtually any household item you can think of. They frequently put their items on sale. Also, you can read customer reviews about the items you’re buying. Kaboodle.com has a similar feature though it tends to be inconsistent in its use compared to Amazon.com which encourages customers to rate their products and the service they received from the vendor.
