Different Styles of Jewelry Armoires

When someone collects jewelry, as many women do, where and how to keep it becomes an issue. With jewelry boxes, the pieces can become jumbled, earrings lost, and necklaces knotted. A great way to keep necklaces, earrings, rings, and whatnot straight is to use an armoire for jewelry – and the with all the different prices and styles, there is one for everyone’s taste!

Jewelry armoires come in so many styles that there is one to fit any room no matter the taste and style. Even if space is an issue, there is an option of a wall hanging jewelry armoire that is similar in style to a curio cabinet, but has all the needed notches, hooks and holes for every piece of jewelry. Many have not only space for jewelry on the inside of the cabinet, but also on the interior side of the door to provide even more space for organization. Often these come in a variety of woods, sometimes having a mirror on the front and/or slim drawers and shelves for decorative accents.

Other options are the free standing pieces. These do take up more space but can also be act as an accent in a room. Because of the different woods used in jewelry armoires, it is easy to find one to match the decor of the space. They range from cherry traditional to country oak, and sleek black or white jewelry armoires. They also come in Mission style, English, Country French and more decorating styles. There are even jewelry armoires for teens and little girls that come in pinks and purples and princess motifs.

Some of these pieces have the distinctive look of a jewelry armoire whereas others are more concealed to look more like a dresser or small armoire. Items can be placed on many of the free standing ones to provide a nice surface for photos or decorative pieces.

With a jewelry armoire, not only is the jewelry in an organized space, but the entire room can be enhanced.
