Buying A New Bed

I just couldn’t decide on which type of bed to get my daughter. She had just got to the age were she had out grown her first proper bed and it was time to think and plan on a type of bed that we could buy to get the best out of it for a longer period of time. We also had an issue with space because her bedroom was not the biggest of rooms so it was very important that we factored this in when choosing the bed.

I asked around friends and family to get ideas, even visiting some to take a look how they had managed their space and the kinds of bed they had chosen. I also went to many bed and furniture shops and found that most of them were selling the same style of beds at differing prices, but no matter how many different types of bed I saw nothing really excited me. That was until I was walking pass a second hand shop and saw in the window a cabin bed. It took me by surprise as it was everything that I wanted, a strong comfortable looking bed with plenty of storage space underneath.

I went in to the shop and asked them were I could buy I brand new one from if I was looking for one, I know it was cheeky but I knew she would want a new one and not a second hand one. The man said in the shop that if he was to look for a new one he would search on the internet as it would have the better prices and a larger range in styles. So I thanked him and got the bus home to begin my search on the internet. There were many sites that sold cabin beds and the man in the shop was right as there were literally hundreds of different styles. I found a site that had everything, advice, frequently asked questions and of course beds at a very competitive price and that was all I needed to find a new bed for my daughter.

There were beds with slides, themed beds and beds shaped as cars and castles it was really amazing at the creativity of the designers. My daughter in the end prompted for a bed with storage space underneath for a TV and computer which also came with drawers. This ticked all the boxes as it saved space and it made my daughter very happy.
