Best places to live in Retirement

As more and more of the baby boomers look for the best places to live in retirement it will become a feeding frenzy for the boomers dollars as they reach retirement age and want to spend some of their golden years doing all the things they have wanted to do for so long. Not just do those things that they have longed to do but do them in a place that is enjoyable to them.

For some baby boomers it will be a tropical paradise, for some it will be a mountain retreat but no matter what the venue, it will be a place for boomers to spend all their cash if they have any left after what has happened since 2008. In fact if they do have any they will probably be doing quite well so those that do spend will have a lot to spend.

If you are looking for the best place to live then you will want to do some real soul searching to find out what really floats your boat as you will probably only want to make the changes in location one time. You will not want to repeat that process especially as you age.

Make a list of all the things that are priorities and list them in order of importance. Things like weather, health care facilities, churches, activities, proximity to family and friends and the list can go on almost forever but at some point you will have to stop and figure out what is top priority.

After you have figured that out you need to go about finding the best places to live that fits your priorities and that can be quite a process but one that is necessary if you are going to do more than take a dart out and throw it at a map. Take your time and make the right decision and it could be wonderful life experience.
