One must know how to carry oneself no matter how much weight we gain. But the key component for you to jump high is your hip. Hip is the muscles that carry your weight. So, be thorough in what you eat to gain less.

Jumping higher is more than an exercise to us. Train your muscles to make it stronger and could access you goal in jumping high. The more carbohydrates you have may affect your goal of jumping higher because carbs can make your weight heavy. It maybe good to eat lots of vegetables and fruits. Squats and too much stretching can help you jump high.

Good luck on your goals and remember that jumping is a great form of exercise but in order to increase your vertical jump you must train the right way.
