How To Reduce Anxiety Without Worrying

Its so easy for people to say to you, stop worrying. They can say it because they don’t have the fear that you do, they don’t have the same panicky feeling when the worrying gets too much. You are the only person who knows how you are feeling so why not change that feeling? Why not make the difference in your life and not worry? We have come up with some ways to help you tackle your anxiety and to learn how to reduce anxiety so that you can have a good nights sleep and not have that knotted stomach feeling every minute of the day.

The first way in which to get over your anxieties is to talk them out with someone. It can be really hard to talk about your problems at first so bear that in mind when you first go to see a counselor. They will give you exercises to do at home so that you can be more prepared for next time and be able to describe your feelings. The other barrier is that you may not want to talk about your feelings. Having anxiety can be seen as a weakness by some people but believe me, its not. By admitting that you have an issue shows that you are really committed to getting over your problem and shows real strength. Focus on this strength when you go to see a counselor and think of the end result too.

The second way to reduce anxiety is to take note of what it is thats causing the anxiety and try to change your lifestyle so that you aren’t faced with the same situation time in and time out. For example if the kids are driving you mad and you are constantly worried that they will break something or knock something over, take them out. Let them run wild outside and them when they come back in they’ll be worn out. If its a work situation then speak to your boss and say that you have these worries and concerns and that they are affecting your work. Not confident? Put it all down in writing so that you don’t have to pluck up the courage to say it yourself.

By doing these things you can be reducing your anxiety levels and easing the physical symptoms of anxiety. Soon you will be worry free and you won’t be plagued by the anxieties you once had.
