1. Reduce saturated fats if you want to be healthy
Meat, butter, refined foods all contain saturated fats that are not good for you. Try to minimize consumption of these foods, and if you already have high cholesterol, ditch them. That is the only way to get your cholesterol level under check and normal levels.
2. Olive oil
Use olive oil in cooking instead of the common sunflower oil. Besides olive oil, you can also use grape seed oil for cooking. They can help lower your harmful cholesterol (LDL) and maintain the good cholesterol (HDL) at a good level. Cellulite removal comes naturally once bad cholesterol is removed from your diet.
3. Fibers
Fiber can help lower your cholesterol by 2 to 5%. They can be found in whole grains, vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts. If you consume these foods you can also lose body fat. Dietary fibers are super healthy and nutritious.
4. No meat!
Most saturated fat is in meat. So if you are “carnivorous”, we advise you to take it easy and enjoy other delicious and healthy foods: whole grains, vegetables, fruits, seeds and milk.
5. Fish
Fish contains omega-3 fatty acids and good fats for our bodies. They help you lower your “bad” cholesterol and increase the “good”. We recommend salmon, mackerel and tuna!
6. Nuts
So what if nuts are fatty foods? Specialists proved they are very good for us when eaten with moderation. If you eat nuts, you lower the risk of developing heart disease.
7. Vitamin C
Eat as many foods rich in vitamin C. It is an antioxidant that prevents cholesterol deposits. Eat fruits, vegetables, especially tomatoes, peppers, spinach, oranges and citrus in general.
8. Green tea
Consume green tea for the high concentration of polyphenols antioxidants that prevent cholesterol from sticking to the artery walls.
