At first, we thought that PDAs and handheld devices are for chief executives on the top tier of any company that has no time to write in diaries or even talk to their own assistants face-to-face. We even thought that the technology before are only for those who can buy them. But in this generation, things went different. We notice that almost everyone in our schools have their own laptops. It is now common to see students lined up in cafeteria tables—not with food trays before them—but their laptops. It is a blatant expression of how technology is easily accessible to us now.
Small portable printers are also gaining popularity not only to the professional world but also to middle-class families. So who really uses these travel printers?
Students. Just finished a paper and only got the travel time to school to print your paper? Travel printers come in handy during these situations. They could be plugged into carports and students are ready to print their report while Mom maneuvers towards the school parking lot.
Police Officers. We see how tech-savvy our policemen have become. Beside them in their patrol cars are laptops with special software that they use while they make rounds. When an instruction is sent to them and there is a need for printing, these printers can easily print what is on the screen. This reduces the need for pen and paper.
Professionals. Working people benefit from the use of small portable printers. While analyzing presentations, charts and graphs for a business meeting in New York while on a plane from California, they can also instantly print out pertinent handouts for the use of their business partners.
Whether you are a student, a policeman, or a businessperson, the possibilities you can get out of using a laptop printer is limitless.
