Kindle 3 Price Reviewed

We shall now take a look at the current Kindle 3 price and decide for ourselves whether the current cost of this electronic book reader is worth buying or not. I want to assume that those of you who have an interest in the Kindle enjoy reading books. It would be kind of silly for someone to buy this device who does not have an interest in reading.

By the time you reach the end of the next few hundred words you will be better able to make up your mind as to whether you should or should not get this latest generation Kindle. There are a few reasons why I think this is the best electronic book reader to be using at the moment but I will also present a few reasons why you may be better off waiting for the Kindle 4 to come out. The choice is yours.

To begin with, the Kindle 3 is good value for money. This is because the price that is being charged at the moment is the lowest price the Kindle has ever been sold at. This includes previous models. One year ago, the Kindle 2 cost more than the Kindle 3 does now. Therefore if you do not yet own an e-book reading device then I recommend this version of the Kindle. It is lighter and its overall size is less than the previous model.

But for those of you who are using one of the earlier generation Kindles the choice is not quite so clear. Yes, this new model is better. But how much better is the question. It is easy to suggest to those who do not use the Kindle that this is the model to choose. This is a straight forward decision. However for existing Kindle readers, it really is a question of personal preference. If I used the Kindle 2 and was happy with the way that it was working, I would be tempted to wait another year for the Kindle 4 to come out. It would seem reasonable to expect that this newer model will be released some time in late 2011 or early 2012.
